Active ingredient
FBCx? (Alpha-Cyclodextrin)

Each tablet contains:
1 g alfadex (alpha-cyclodextrin)

Not all fibres are necessarily created equal. At Flordis, we use the same active ingredient (patented fibre FBCx), produced in the same way, and at the same dose that's been proven in clinical studies to help support a healthy cholesterol and lipid profile.1-3 That’s why you can feel confident that Nuvexa can offer the health outcomes demonstrated in the clinical trials.

Nuvexa can start to work from the first dose. Clinical studies with Nuvexa showed the most beneficial effects can occur after 2-3 months.3,6 You should continue to take Nuvexa as long as advised by your healthcare professional.

Nuvexa can be continued as needed or as recommended by a healthcare professional.

The FBCx in Nuvexa is suggested to bind with dietary fat and can reduce the amount of fat absorbed from food. A pre-clinical study conducted by professors at the University of Minnesota suggests that Nuvexa may preferentially bind with saturated fat.5 Another pre-clinical study conducted by scientists at the National Institute of Health (NIH) showed Nuvexa resulted in lower levels of saturated fats and fatty acids in the blood.4

It is recommended to take two tablets of Nuvexa with a fat-containing meal three times a day. This is a total of six tablets each day.

FBCx is a soluble fibre derived from corn. Each Nuvexa tablet contains 1 gram of the alpha-cyclodextrin (alfadex) fibre which has been patented as FBCx in Nuvexa.
